Central Festival Pattaya Beach: A Shopaholics Dream Destination
The Central Festival Pattaya Beach is the place no Shopaholic can ever miss. It is Asia’s largest beachfront shopping complex. It is located in 333/102 Pattaya Sai Song Road, Bang Lamung District. You will find here international brand clothing, varied eating options and all-weather entertainment, such as cinema, bowling and children’s arcade.
Opened in 2009, the 57, 150 square meters mall was the first shopping mall of Central Pattana, Thailand’s largest retail corporation under the “Central Festival” brand. A five-floor central department store, the mall has a parking space of over 2,000 vehicles and has a 302-room hotel, the Hilton Pattaya.
Around 350 stalls to check on, the range of fashion which you will find in Central Festival is one among the best in Pattaya with Calvin Klein, Esprit, French Connection and Armani Exchange- to name a few- all having their latest season’s design for sale. Electronic products, mobile phones, and many book stores can also be found from the ground floor to the second floor. Besides these brand labels, you will also find here a 10- screen cinema and bowling alley placed on top floors. With a beachfront location, this place becomes the perfect place to hang out. For the food lovers, the place to go is- the Food Court on the lower B floor. You will also find loads of independent cafes and restaurants on the third and fourth floors, serving from Thai, Japanese, Korean and Indian to MC Donald’s, Dominoes, KFC, and Starbucks. The front square host “Indie in Town” on every Friday, a flea market concept where teenagers and young adults come to sell their quirky merchandise.
This is the place to visit when you are tired of the beach, or when roaming outside is not an option. The mall has been planned to provide the visitors with a full range of activities. For some recreational activity, you can spend time at the Mario Land games arcade and Kiddy Land for infants.
The mall is easy to reach- in the middle of the Pattaya Beach road right beside Wave. It is open from 11:00 to 23:00 daily. The main shops close at 23:00- but you will find some stand-alone bars and restaurants open until 2:00. This place you cannot miss when you are visiting Pattaya.
