Klingking Beach- A Secluded, White Sandy Beach in Indonesia
Nusa Penida has so many beautiful spots to visit and klingking Beach is one of them. This mesmerizing Beach lies in Bunga Mekar on Nusa Penida Island, Klungkung regency in Bali. Klingking Beach is around 30 minutes away from the Island. To reach there you have to go down the cliff which is a bit tiring job. The best thing around this beach is it stays open for 24 hours a day. You will take around 1 to 1.5 hours to visit this place and capture all the scenic beauty. Pura Palaung is an archaic temple a couple of minutes away from the beach. This iconic formation resembles a Tyrannosaurus Rex head hence it is known as ‘ T-Rex’ Bay also. Do not forget to bring a good branded pair of shoes and a water bottle while visiting this beach. This beach is for the adventurous only. But some people also come there to capture nature’s beauty and take panorama shots. A passenger ferry ticket to reach this beach is for 31000 IDR and by a speedboat, it takes around 175000 IDR. The best time to visit this beach would be between March and November. The entrance fee for the beach is of 10000 IDR per person and for parking, it is 5000 IDR. There is an option to reach down there by scooter as well but it is advisable not to drive there unless you are a good driver and habitual of driving on such a terrible path. To reach down from the cliff might take you around an hour which is not everyone’s cup of tea. Heart patients should stay away from such places. You will need around Rs 5000 per person to visit this beach.
The beach is fabulous for scenic photography but not for everyone since the path to reach it is perilous and not constructed. Also, the waves are high at this beach so it is advisable not to swim or snorkel here. Just enjoy the blue waters, white sand and greenery at this spot and create memories.
