About India

India or Bharat, the land of vedas, sages, zero, yoga, ayurveda, myths, gods, and ancient wisdom, throughout history has been a melting pot of ideas, cultures, and knowledge. Modern India is only a shadow of the gentle giant it once was, the last thousand years of war and foreign plundering have not favoured India's growth, but since early 2000s India has shifted gears and is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. New Delhi, the capital is a perfect blend of medievel and urban architecture!

India is a mesmerizing travel destination with each city, town, village offering something distinctive. Where North India is all action packed with trekking, rafting, camping across the Himalayas, at the same time West India welcomes you with a completely different landscape of desert, camels, and festivities having its own allure. South India has the western ghats, which are so green that you can confuse them with the Amazons and the Congolese rainforests of the world, an ecosystem brimming with flora and fauna. Central India is mostly the state of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh, the land of Kamasutra, temples, caves, and wildlife sanctuaries. East India has the colonial capital of the country and also one of the most artistic people in the country, the Bengalis; it also has the largest river delta in the world, the Sunderbans, land of the Royal Bengal Tiger. And then there is North East India, probably the most underrated, yet the most beautiful part of India, a place where the forests are sacred, water is divine, and the people are extremely hospitable.
